Everyday care

Wipe with a damp cloth after use and dry immediately. The honed matte surface is easy to look after but not indestructible. No abrasives, no aggressive cleaners — clean water or a mild pH-neutral soap is enough.

Avoid acids

Acidic liquids like wine, citrus juice and vinegar can etch the surface and leave dull marks. Wipe spills promptly. This is what the coasters are for — they take the marks so your furniture doesn't have to.

Patina

Small marks and changes in the surface are not faults. They are evidence of use. The stone gains character over time.

Storage

Stack felt side down. Keep away from other stone objects so surfaces don't sit directly against each other.
